They were out surviving the wet and rainy storms that came and went through the week!  This week looks like we are going to have some clear skies!! So… there is going to be two fun derbies this weekend! They are both open to the public and you can sign up early on line here or you can sign up when you get to the lake.   Saturday is the Calfornia Inland Fisheries Foundation, Inc. Derby and Sunday is the fundraiser derby for Marysville High School Safe and Sober grad night for 2017 graduates. The sunday Derby is from 6:30- noon, have lunch here and then you have the rest of your Sunday to do anything else your heart desires!! IT IS A WIN WIN situation!

 So here is the list of awesome fishermen and women and lets not forget the kids who survived the elements!  

Jonah Cruz & Camden Goetle of Roseville caught some nice trout using green powerbait trolling by the bridge. Dylan & Justin of Grass Valley caught a limit of trout using green powerbait shore fishing.  Chris, Dan, Larry & Steve had their own limit tournament and they were all winners! All four of them limited out using lures & or powerbiat by the beach.  Tommy,Tonja & Elizah of Tracy caught 5 nice trout using the Bong lure down by the dam.  Tommy caught a 7 3/4 lb trout and then there was a 3 3/4lb & 2 lb trout too.  Natalie Smith won 3rd in the youth tournament with a 1 1/2 lb trout using bubblegum power eggs.  Ethan, Emma,Miles & Oliva Hansard of Orangeville & Brownsville caught a limit of trout using pink powerbait.  Brandon, Jett & Trigg  Caught a 6 lb 8 oz by the beach trolling using rapalla lures.  Bird Dog of Meridian caught a nice big 7 1/2 lb trout using powerbait across the lake.  Lorenzo Cisneros & Connor Gladden caught 8 trout using yellow powerbait from the shore down by the dam.  Tyler Palacio of Colfax caught a 1 lb trout on orange PB.  Noah Konz of Clippermills a nice beauty a 4 lb. trout using Kastmaster lure on the beach.  Katy & Sunnar of Yuba City caught a 2 limits of trout using white & orange powerbait.  Jaycob of Roseville caught a 2 1/2lb trout using power worms down by the beach.  Matthew & Dillon of Rocklin caught some nice trout using Rapallas #5 fire tigers.  Angulo Family  caught 4 trout & one crappie by the beach using moose tail pink powerbaitRoman & Tony of Sacramento caught some trout and crappie trolling on the otherside of lake with kastmaster lures.   Noah, Jacob & Tyler caught 9 trout using  loose woblers & rapala lures in the east cove of lake.  Jette, Wyatt & Trigg of Yuba City caught a nice 7 lb. 4 oz. using Kastmasterby the beach.  Josh of Gridley caught a nice 7 lb. trout using garlic powerbait on the shoreline.
