There was a open derby which was thru the Norcal Trout Anglers this last weekend. See the FishSniffer.com for the update on who won and how they did!

 THERE IS STILL TWO OPEN DERBIES left for this month April 22nd, Sat. CIFFI derby and April 23rd, Sun. MHS safe and sober gradnight Derby fundraiser. You can sign up early for both on this website, there is a link on this home page.

 So, support our local groups and have fun doing it too! It is a win win situation! We are doing the double plants on top of releasing 2 of our fish pins too. SO…..to be technical about it you can say we will have         4 plants each week! 

So we had some old visitors here fishing this week Dave and Kevin caught their limit on Bass using worms down by the bridge. Choua, Daisy & Casey Lor of Marysville  caught two nice trout using pink powerbait.  Randy and Mark caught 7 trout using pink and orange powerbait by sites in the 200’s.  Scott Romaine of Menifee caught a limit of trout using peach powerbait down by the dam.  Justin & Kodi of Sacramento caught 4 trout and 11 crappie using worms off the shore.  Milton, Kodi, Justin and Monti of Antioch caught 8 bass 4 trout, & 2 bluegill using worms shore fishing.  Amelia of Auburn caught 3 trout down by the dam usng salmon eggs.  Winston Huber of Sacramento and dad limited out with trout using green powerbait down by the dam.  Pete Henderson, Aaron, Brian and Dave of Lincoln caught 9 trout and 3 crappie using worms fishing in the middle of the lake.
