We saw many consistent “limits” of trout caught this week!!  Many of them from the shoreline down by the dam or off the sand  beach.

All the biggest trout were caught on lures while trolling this week.  Peter Tinoco from Roseville hooked a limit and his biggest was a 5 pounder, he used an orange Rapala.  Kyle Leingang from Pinole was very pleased when he hooked his 4 lb. 4 oz. Rainbow and he trolled a red Apex lure.

Bruce, Tommy, Brian, & Chuck trolled Rapalas in the north end and caught three beautiful trout, their personal best was near 4 pounds. They were also trolling with a Rapala lure.

Lisa Seachrist from Reno, Nv. hooked a beautiful 5 lb. 8 oz. trout using the infamous Rapala lure, under the powerlines.

4 yr. old Emma Scott from Yuba City, hooked a 6 lb. CATfish all by herself while fishing with her Daddy.  She used PowerBait and she fished from a boat on the east side where she picked up her Cat!!

Jairiko Rodarte from Browns Valley limited out on trout off the beach using PowerBait.  Joe Russo & Jim Walden picked a spot in the Open Area that paid off Big- two limits of trout also on PowerBait. Tim LeGrady limits out on trout too, using a Sep’s grub on a Mepp’s lure.

“Team Anderson” never had to leave their campsite, using either worms or Powerbait, got a nice stringer of 4 trout. Phillip Danenberg from Grass Valley picked up a nice trout limit using PowerBait from shore.  Mike Wolf from Santa Rosa limited out same day also using PowerBait from his site.
