Cats and more Cats (updated on 9/11)

Nothing has changed in the past two weeks the predominant fish is Catfish!!  Bernardo from Pittsburg caught his 5 pound Cat by the dam on a nightcrawler.  Josh & Lily also used worms but in Elmer’s Cove and hooked a 5 lb. 4 oz. Cat.

James Jenkins caught the biggest Cat this week, a 7 lb. 4 oz. and a 3 lb. one too on chicken livers on the east side of the lake straight across from the boat ramp.  Congrats to Bradley of Modesto who landed his 1st Fish Ever, a Bluegill…..

Jerry Rodriguez of Gilroy, Ca. who hooked a huge 10 lb. 4 oz. Catfish Catch!!  Jerry fished on the far side of the dam in a cove and fished with anchovies for bait.

Probhat Palma fished from his boat near the islands and hooked two excellent Bass and continued through dark and caught three big Cats too.  He used worms/ or crawdads just drifting off the bottom.

Lawrence & Linda Tracy of Sac. fished with PowerBait in the Open Area and hooked a huge 9 lb. 4 oz. Catfish just yesterday.

Rod Medenilla of Pleasanton, Ca. caught a little 2 lb. 8 oz. Catfish, but hey, it still made a nice meal (for one)……

Daniel Haddox from Lincoln, Ca. outdid Joseph Haddox with his 5 lb. Cat and Joseph did catch a nice 3 lb. 8 oz. Cat also using worms by the dam.
