Chuck Lentz from Rocklin ends the year with a 7 lb. 4 oz. Rainbow caught from shore near his site on PowerEggs.  This past week there were lots of trout caught from shore thanks to better visibility (about 4 ft.)  Jeremy & Bouzer caught two beautiful trout limits on green PowerBait from shore near the beach.

Chris Turnbell from Fairfield topped his catch with a 3 lb. 8 oz. trout which he hooked from shore by the dam.  Drew from Rio Linda also fished by the dam using PowerBait and hooked two trout.  Little Kristina & Stacy also caught a trout each near the marina on PowerBait.

Pink PowerEggs worked well for Nick & Phin and Dominique (their big one weighed 3 lb. 12 oz.) and they fished from shore.  Nadilee, Jeremy, Wyatt, & Gabie had a stringer of 17 Rainbows.  They fished from the sandy beach area using green PowerBait.  Kevin Robinson from Orangevale limited out on trout near the beach also using PowerBait.

Shore fishing was pretty amazing this week but a couple of boaters did equally well.  Josh Frackowiak trolled near the dam and caught his trout on a Rapala.  Todd Fetherston of Roseville also trolled a Rapala and his monster trout weighed in at 5 lb. 9 oz.

Rodney Uren from Yuba City fished near a buoy with worms and reeled in a 5 lb. 9 oz. trout along with a 2lb. 10 oz.
