John Martin from Marysville started off the week with his huge 7 lb. 12. Trout catch, he was trolling with a flasher and a nightcrawler in the channel.
Sam Briefman was bass fishing from his boat on the east side and tossed a rubber worm towards the shoreline and hooked a massive looking Catfish that weighed in at 12 lbs. 8 oz.

Little Victoria La Calle from Oroville was trout fishing with green PowerBait on the east side and got a big surprise, surprise! She hooked a catfish instead and it was a 7 pounder!
Ramona caught her limit of trout (biggest was 4 lb. 4 oz.) down by the dam on assorted colors of PowerBait from shore. Fishing for trout from shore is slowing down since our surface temps have risen above the 70’s. The best time is early in the morning or at night when the outside temp has dropped.

Dale from Lodi struck it rich this week!! He fishes with a Hoochie and worms and he hooked two gigantic trout while trolling, the biggest was a 9 lb. 8 oz. and the second biggest, a 6 lb. 8 oz. Rainbow. That’s pretty incredible to catch two huge trout in the same day.
Todd Verfoot was actually bass fishing and caught a Bass! He fished up towards the bridge with a top water plug called a Jitterbug which aided him in successfully hooking a nice 4 lb. 8 oz. Bass.

Sam Provenzano of Oregon House caught three trout from his boat near the boat ramp and he was still fishing with corn PowerBait. John Cartwright from Elk Grove was excited about his 3 pound Rainbow which he caught on a worm while trolling near the channel.
