COLLINS LAKE BOAT LAUNCH IS—–( OPEN)

Leave the long johns at home, it’s warming up this week!  These beautiful sunny days have brought a lot of people out this week and some of the fish being caught are huge!!

Dino Tribuzi was shore fishing with rainbow PowerBait when he hooked a gigantic 14 lb. 3 oz. Catfish, now that was a nice surprise!  Sumerlyn Whicker caught 3 nice Rainbows, her biggest a 6 lb. 4 oz. while shore fishing by the dock using worms and marshmallows.

Chartruese PowerEggs helped little Wyatt Joseph in landing his 5 lb. 8 oz. Rainbow trout.  His sister Miranda and big brother Owen helped him a little bit!!  Tony Delong and his friend Kasie caught 6 rainbows while trolling the lake with a dodger and a Hoochie, between the dam and the inlet.

Mike Gugzy along with the Peters brothers (Chris & Robert) caught a total of 14 trout.  They trolled the middle of the lake using a flasher along with a nightcrawler.  What a great time they had!!

A group of fellas hooked 6 Rainbows off the sand beach on PowerBait.  The credit goes to Yang, Chew, Choua, & Tatley, and one of them caught a gorgeous 3 lb. 12 oz. as the big one on the stringer.
