Catfish are still in the lead

Catfish catches are still leading the picture boards this week with most being caught on worms or anchovies.  Dawson Fugate caught the biggest one, weighing in at 7 lbs. 8 oz. on anchovies across the lake.  Dusty & Rhett Moran from Yuba City hooked a 6 lb. 6 oz. Catfish also using anchovies for bait.

Grandpa John Alves from Roseville brought his grandson Andrew fishing on their “male bonding trip” and they caught a nice Catfish and didn’t go home empty handed!!

Chery & Rick hooked two really nice catfish using worms from the bank and they weighed 5 lbs. & 4-3/4 lbs.  Alex Hagerig of Concord used worms in Elmer’s Cove and hooked onto a 4 lb. 8 oz. Catfish.  Shayley of Vacaville used hot dogs to hook her 4 lb. 4 oz. Catfish in Elmer’s Cove while  camping here.

Kai, Ray & Ian from Ventura caught a trout on flashers and worms by the dam.  Neeko came all the way from Texas to catch his 1st trout at Collins Lake on a minicrawler by the dam.  Samuel Page of Antioch fished near the dock and caught a Bass on a worm.

Cyn McCarthy & Kevin Calhoun Jr. brought up a nice stringer of trout and a Crappie which they caught on worms from their boat on the east side.
