The trout catches have not slowed down this week, lots of limits are still being reported to us. Doug Clark, Jimmy Trejo, along with Tyler & Tommy caught 17 Rainbows on the east side of the lake trolling Mooselock Wobblers with a rainbow trout pattern. Richard and Gary Anderson of Browns Valley both limited out (10 total) and they trolled with flashers and worms in the middle of the lake.
Madman & Qwelvin of Browns Valley limited out on trout plus a limit of 5 Bass while trolling with Needlefish with a piece of orange Powerbait to accessorize! Ryan Barella and his wife Bari and kids Lauren & Cory caught trout everyday and they all looked to be 2 pounds or better, their biggest was a 3 pounder. They used either lures or worms and didn’t stay in one place too long, they kept to the main body of water and trolled about 20 ft. down.

Roy Young brought Ethan and fished with Jesse Joseph and his 3 little ones (Owen, Wyatt, & Miranda) and they caught Bass & Crappie using live crawdads on the east side.

Kat & Natalie camped here with family and they are from Chico. They fished with live minnows and hooked 9 Crappie from a boat on the east side in the brush. Preston Foster called back to tell me that fishing by the bridge was fantastic, in fact they caught two limits of trout in about three hours. They were using the GULP bright pink salmon egg and floating them off the bottom just like you would Powerbait.
