Don’t tell the Trout it’s summertime, they are still shallow and still taking the bait in less than 20 feet of water.  Doug Clark and Jimmy Trejo, along with Nick’s help, landed 3 limits of Trout off the east bank trolling silver Wobblers.  The Bertolin family returned from San Jose and continue to limit out on Trout fishing in less than 20 feet of water floating worms off the bottom.  Our father son duo, Craig & Ken Zschach of Rohnert Park ended their wonderful camping trip with a 9 Trout stringer with a Crappie which they caught by the power lines on worms.

Ian Clark & Kyle Lewis caught 6 Trout by the dam on worms and Payton & Tim Beall of Vacaville caught 3 Trout by the dam on worms.   The east side shoreline was a HOT SPOT for Thomas, Eric, Billy, & Alyssa of Yuba City too!! They hooked 9 Trout using a combo of worms and powerbait from their boat.   Joe Evans limited out on  Trout by the dam using worms for bait, his biggest weighed 3 lb. 12 oz.

Little Kevin Calhoun of SAC lands a Trout off the rental boat dock using nightcrawlers. Toula Giranis and her husband Steve were trolling with Kastmasters and hooked 3 Trout.  Eric Sanchez of Yuba City hooked a 2 lb. Trout using powerbait & worms.

Will Peterson of Kelseyville caught a 10 lb. 8 oz. Catfish from shore near the Water’s Edge campground and Klint Schroeder of Loma Rica topped that with a 12 pound Catfish just last night using Sardines for bait.   Kolby Medina of Lakeport was drifting a worm near the dam and caught a Redear Sunfish.  Colby & Jacob Gualano of Reno got into some Crappie using live minnows off the rental marina.

Tommy Hagerty of San Leandro and his sister Bianca brought up 2 beautiful Trout they caught while trolling Kastmasters while Colton Young of San Leandro used pink powerbait to hook his Trout.  Roy Weldon hooked a 1 lb. 12 oz. Redear Sunfish on the eastside using worms for bait.

The Williamson & Sauls families caught 2 limits of Rainbows using worms at the dam, their biggest was 2 lb. 4oz. Jeffrey, Patrick & Kyle of Loma Rica captured a 5 lb. Catfish from shore in the Open Area using worms.  The Yabut family, Goddard family, & Seachrist’s returned for their annual campout and had their annual photo shoot. Each year they get less fish and more kids!!
