Collins
Lake is a 1600 acre lake and recreation area with 12 1/2 mile of
shoreline, nestled in the beautiful California gold country foothills. It
is located about 1 1/4 hours North East of Sacramento between Marysville
and Grass Valley.
We
are open year-round at sunrise. Our facilities include lakeshore camping and RV sites,
tent sites, group camps, boat launch, marina and boat rentals, a big sand
swimming beach, children's playground, beach volleyball, picnic area, general
store, laundry and hot showers. Check out our famous huge ice cream cones!
Our
marina has berths up to 24' long & 10' wide for your boat.

We take pride in offering a safe, clean, family friendly park and have security and medical personnel on call 24 hours a day.
Waterskiing
is permitted May 1st - Oct 15th. Please note that Collins Lake regulations
do not permit the operation of small personal watercraft ie: Jet skis or
waverunners, and unmuffled or excessively noisy boats.
Collins
Lake is famous for trophy TROUT and BASS fishing!!
We have California's largest private trout planting program North of Sacramento.
More than 50,000 trout are planted every spring. Thousands of the trout
are trophy sized, planted at 3 to 8 pounds.
We
have also had lunker bass weigh in over 15 Pounds! Bass, crappie, bluegill,
and catfish are plentiful and intensive habitat areas for them have been
built to keep Collins Lake one of the best fishing lakes in Northern California.
